Celebrate 20 Years of Public Affairs With the Luskin Forum

To usher in the new year, the winter edition of the Luskin Forum — the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs’ bi-annual magazine — is dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the School.

In the summer of 1994 the School of Public Affairs officially opened its doors, combining the departments of Public Policy, Social Welfare and Urban Planning. This issue kicks off the celebration of 20 years of Public Affairs at UCLA.

Inside the magazine readers will find a timeline of events from when the School was first formed until present day; an oral history of the shaping of the School from those who were most involved; a list of the Top-20 achievements of the School; and Q&A’s with three of the longer-termed faculty members of the School. There are also stories on the School’s founding dean, Archie Kleingartner as well as all the news, information and alumni stories everyone has come to expect from the Luskin Forum.
